MISSION

To provide a quality education and community experience to help families and students ages 5-17 prepare to be responsible, engaged citizens, guided by a love and understanding of the Qur'an, the Prophet (SAW) and Islam as a way of life.

CURRICULUM GUIDELINES

  • Teach each student the foundational Islamic knowledge, the underlying spirituality embedded in that knowledge and the critical thinking skills required to reflect and build on those core understandings.

  • Intellectually and emotionally engage our students from early childhood through their teenage years via meaningful projects, relevant discussions, focused study and interactions with diverse Muslim role models.

  • Instill in our students an understanding that the principles of being a good Muslim and those of being a good friend, neighbor and citizen are one and the same.

  • Create an inclusive environment in which our students feel respected and heard by their teachers, form lasting friendships and have a sense of belonging to a Muslim American community.

  • Empower our students with the opportunity to seek guidance from our spiritual traditions on the issues they face as young American Muslims, thereby strengthening their own religious identity.

The most complete gift of God is a life based on knowledge.
