ILC - NYC
The Islamic Learning Center of New York City is a registered 501c3 organization. Your support is critical to bridging the gap between current tuition and actual cost of running the program.
$150.00 provides classroom supplies, guest speaker stipends, and resources for ONE classroom for one year
$850.00 provides ONE session of classroom and common space rental
$2,500 provides the salaries of Sunday School teaching staff for ONE session (not including full-time staff)
$5,000.00 provides one year of community programming, including Parent Breakfasts and our Annual Eid Picnic
Our goals at the ILC - NYC remain:
To keep our tuition affordable so that we remain inclusive and accessible to all families in NYC
To allocate scholarship funds for students on a need-basis
To continue to develop and refine a meaningful curriculum that promotes an in-depth understanding of our deen and its connection to daily life
To attract and retain high quality teachers
To maintain a low student to teacher ratio
To expand the number of classrooms to allow further subdivision of the groups, and therefore more age-focused learning
To host special speakers with expertise in topics of interest
To develop ancillary programs for students and parents to connect with families outside the classroom
